ICE MELT
We offer our customers a variety of bagged products to help remove snow and ice. Our bagged material comes in 50 to 55-lb bags and can be purchased in our store location or shipped directly to you.
Pellets & Flakes
Pellets and flakes are higher quality products that combine ease of use with safety and environmental concerns. CALCIUM CHLORIDE spreads evenly and melts snow and ice in temperatures as cold as -25 degrees Fahrenheit. Our products include Peladow, a premium pellet product with high calcium content, and Dowflake Xtra, a premium flake product (but not recommended for concrete less than 1 year old).
Magnesium chloride pellets are safer on concrete, people and pets, and for the environment but have a somewhat higher melting point. Magnesium chloride flakes are the superior snow and ice melter; it is a fast-acting ice melt, user and animal-friendly, and melts snow and ice as cold as -25 degrees Fahrenheit.

Rock Salt
Rock salt is a basic, economical alternative for removing ice and snow, with a melting point as low as 5 degrees Fahrenheit.
Bulk Deicers
For larger operators in Northern and Central New Jersey, we also offer BULK DEICERS. For a 25-ton minimum, we will arrange for truckloads to be shipped from the port directly to your location. We can provide you with either rock salt or SnowSlicer, an enhanced rock salt that is blended with other melters to improve performance, deter corrosion, and stop refreeze.

Here at Levitt's, we also stock a complete line of SPREADERS and TOOLS to meet your snow removal needs.
